a.grape.quiche.and.a.cup.of.dirty.chai

you always have some leftover grapes at home, sometime you just throw them away when they no longer look good to eat raw.  a friend's sister is a talented cook with french twist.  through her, you learned many new ways of cooking and baking, inspiring in the combination of ingredients that you could never imagine - the french way.
as a result your leftover grapes are transformed into a tasty quiche. you baked it a night before and by the time you intend to make a photo the next day, a slice is gone ^^. and he made a mess in cutting the quiche...
you adapt the recipe by using smoked chicken breast instead of fresh turkey fillet. the quiche is surprisingly light and the smoked chicken gives the smokiness that rightly balance the tangy-ness and sweetness from the grapes.
you love it, the grapes gave a tangy touch to the quiche and thus you don't feel that it is too rich like most of the other quiche...
and you infused a pot of chai tea, from fortnum and mason. a box of loose tealeaves that you picked up from your recent trip to london.  you love to drink scented chai in the colder days like now.  it's an enjoyment to sit back and sipping a dirty cup of chai with a dash of fresh milk.  it goes very well with the quiche too.
and you decided to use your 50mm lens again, it's been awhile, you abandon the 50mm when you got the 35mm lens. rekindle with 50mm and you rediscover it works very well in low light, in the season that you are now in, this will be your food photography lens for the coming months...

you should if you like the combination of apple/chicken, then the grape/turkey combi is a great alternative...
