you walked past this place many times. you love the charming and nicely decorated interior, let's say it's like a secret garden or oasis in the city, only it does appear a little girlish.  hence you can never get your colleagues there for social drink. yes, you have to admit that you work in a very masculine world.

today, you woke up naturally and since it's a rainy day, you decided not to venture to brick lane but stay on to work a little bit and out to the folly for brunch.

you know you will have tea in the afternoon, so you refrain from carbs intake.  a mango passion fruit orange trio juice to start...

 a small egg benedicts and a sausage seem the right portion

you like the fact that the table display is a life mint plant wrap in newspaper... how earthy and natural, effortless and eco decoration.

the egg is nicely done, and it's great to eat with the grilled sausage...

 you love everything you see in the ladies. the bird hanging cuff

 a nice cage with candle in the corner of the dressing room....

 and the lower ground has a nice atmosphere too and less feminine compared to the ground floor...

the food is not bad, a little pricey and you certainly will not dine here if you have to foot the bill.  but since you are staying over due to project commitment, this is on company expenses.

the place is really nice and warm, with various theme and decorated accordingly

you could sit here the whole afternoon, but you have to go out of central london today.

you can swing yourself on this swing chair the whole afternoon

the service is quite cold, the waitresses and waiters are not really warm in their service, perhaps it's sunday.  you never know, and you probably will not find out unless you have a social drink here on weekdays.

today you had your first workshop. it went well, even your client used the word "it went surprisingly well".  well, you guess you work really hard for this, and certainly it's not perfect but good enough to your standard. your client flew in quite a lot of people from all over the world and you got to put up a good show.  overall it, went well, over exceedingly well and ending the day a little earlier in a positive node.  two more days to go, and a training that you need to conduct on thursday.  all mambo jumbo up in the same week.  but you will manage.
now you need to press on to prepare for thursday.
