writing this in the flight from east to west. you are alright for 8 hours flight but anything longer than that you became restless. it's been a awhile since you last return to your home country.
you caught it at the right moment, not that you planned it in such a way, but you landed the day after the general election.
will the change eventually took place? or this country is going to be run by the same old corrupted party since the independence?
you arrived to the capital airport to know that the result is of no surprise to you and many others but the tactic the current party did to remain in reign is such a shameful thing to the nation.
it is what it is. with the highest voting rate/turnout and the highest level of political awareness, like many people who didn't even bother to vote in the past now made an effort to vote. you never registered yourself as a voter yeti ou found your record in the official website. you never know you could vote until such moment and it just surprises you that your voting location is not even your birth place.
that said, this country is corrupted. utterly corrupted, every thing must have a balance and check.
the younger and educated people are aware and looking at the overseas voting result you only see the land sliding result that opposition parties win. but that just a minority, they are many more people on the rural areas.
you are disappointed not because the existing party continue to rule the country, you are disappointed the tricks they play to win this election. black out on election counting moment? blackout?
you don't live here but you would like to return someday and hopefully your home country is not utterly poor, deficits and many years backward....
the land belongs to the Lord, justice will come, let's wait and see!

i have been silence for awhile, mainly because there isn't a good internet connection but most importantly i am on vacation. so it's literally a time to disconnect to the internet world and just connect to the nature. this is going to be a series of journals of my "holiday", in my way.
