a 24 hours turnaround in paris
started with a late evening flight, arrived, checked in to the hotel and doze off
you had more than this, but this is a very typical french breakfast that you normally don't take including the orange juice
spring in paris, the plum is blossoming...
because the weather is so good, you actually went out for lunch with your co-partners and personally you indulged in that piece of saint-honore. it's very different from the premium brands version but taste wise it's good.
and then you rush to airport, stuck in the traffic for awhile just in time to grab a plate of food served in the airline lounge before you bought you flight home.
on a side note you remember today is the third anniversary of the greatest tsunami in japan. since it's an overnight trip, you went with a pair of flat and co-incidentally you also have to attend the security briefing session at your client which includes walking down 8 staircase to the emergency meeting point. you made a comment to your colleagues that thankfully you wear your flat and not your normal heels and mentioned that the last time you did this was in tokyo when the earthquake struck. and suddenly you remember it's today that you walked down the stairs of the building in tokyo and eventually walk 2 hours back to your tokyo condo in the late afternoon. that day you also wore a pair of flat as if you're prepared for this. your heart grief for a moment as you re-live the memory in your mind. 3 years later, japan is so far for you now, but those moments that you have experienced has left a very lasting impact to your life. may God bless japan.
