sights.of.london

while this post is about london, i am actually in geneva, switzerland now.  i checked out the city very briefly as soon as i landed and settled in the hotel. unfortunately with the winter time in effect, the sky gets dark shortly after five, so my impression of geneva is entirely based on the evening scenary. more to come on geneva. for now, let's go back to london.
===
some sights of london city when you stepped out from the underground at the bank area (sometime in early october)
london stock exchange, right in the bank station, the very financial district of london.
the lipstick building looming over the skyline of london. you seen this building a lot in the uk version of apprentice show, but you never know the real name of this building.

out in the enclosed horizon, a little too dark. the reflection of the lipstick building on the left is quite enchanting even in the day... but the photo couldn't do the justice

the next day you wander around the city a bit,  strolling through mayfair to oxford street. taking the walking route below.

a quick round that seem to take more than four hours of your time, there are just so many to see in london, even just window shopping.
 just the stretch between piccadilly circus to green park underground station, you had all your favorite shops on one street.
including the pleasantly surprise japanese namagashi store minamoto kitchoan源 吉兆庵) where you got your shibugaki jelly.
