persimmon.sharon.kaki.shibugaki.渋.柿

sharon fruit, kaki fruit, persimmon or as japanese called it shibugaki (渋柿)
you have some kaki fruits from the supermarket and you bought one shibugaki wagashi (渋柿和菓子) from london last week. just opposite fortnum and mason there is now a japanese wagashi store, right in city center of london.
it's totally unexpected, the shop is sandwiched between maison du chocolate and laduree, you were thrilled the other night when you walked past the shop at night, determine to come back the next day. you got some fresh namagashi that has to be consumed on the same day (more story on that another time).
this is persimmon jelly, taste very natural and almost like eating persimmon puree...
 it is fresh, very refreshing
a sort of thirst quencher after a lazy drowsy day.  you went for your annual genealogy checkup, two strong pain killers (a night before and this morning) give you a drowsy day and you stay on your bed most of the time. you woke up past 5pm only find yourself in thirst and wanting something refreshing, this shibugaki wagashi hit the spot!
