you woke up this morning with this verse clearly en-scripted in your heart "three things will last forever - faith, hope and love, and the greatest is love"1 corinthians 13:13. it was strange feeling but later you realize how this verse is meant for you today.
you went for your mri appointment this afternoon. a few weeks ago you had constant and persistence headache that cause disturbances in your sleep and jeopardizing your health, your family doctor referred you to neurology and so the appointment for mri scan is made.
during the procedure you were transported to a small tunnel, you don't have claustrophobia but yet you were panic inside an enclosed space. the feeling is like you are in the coffin, confronted by the surface just within proximity to your face... you were in there for some twenty minute, and the verse just continue to repeat in your mind, your heart and your spirit. you thought of your father when you last saw him in the coffin, you thought of yourself, you thought about death, but you just have the assurance and the faith and the hope in God that you know He loves you so much. that very moment in the mri tunnel, you were not afraid of death, in fact you were overflowing with love, the love of God and His love to mankind... you know that if you were buried alive, you will not be afraid because you know in Him you have eternity and death is just the beginning of eternity.
you have a rather relax work week, now is the forth day and you started to feel bored without much to do, thankfully you have a long weekend to look forward to...
you made some portugese custard tarts on his request. this is the first time you try this and it actually turn out quite well... the custard is a tad too sweet, you didn't have the correct egg tart mould, but set that aside, the tart is taste good.
you know this entry is a bit bizarre but you decided to compose it this way, it's about food and about food for thought too..
