chinese new year may be officially over as the fifteen day that conclude the festival falls on the same day as valentine's day. nevertheless there is nothing stopping you from another round of festive cookies eating session.

so you went to your friend's place ad these cookies welcomed you.... assorted chinese new year cookies

and you brought along a jar of sarawak achar that you made a few weeks ago, this is best eaten with the prawn crackers...

and the fried nian gao, sandwiched between the slices of sweet potato and yam, it's delicious!

then come the main serving of the day, the tomyam hotpot with assorted raw meat, vegetables ready to be drop into the soup

and in no time the tom yam hotpot is ready. it's so delicious that you had 3 servings besides the cookies that you have been munching whole afternoon.

and then the local malaysia coffee is served in the ethiopia's coffee pot.  it's essentially just a different brewing technique using different tool

and also the fun playing with the kids that running around the house, your favorite photo of the day is the kiss with this little boy over the glass door...
you're so full that you return home without dinner for the rest of the night.
