breaking your holiday tales, now back to the first week of work in a nutshell.
you'd to travel to paris on sunday, definitely an unusual start.
then only to know your business partner in paris behave like cowboys, wild, no rule and untamed. you're amazed at how the non-native english speaker as french could hijack conversation, shout in broken english, almost too ruthless in reality. .the short 3 business days was crazy, long hours, trying to align (where there's no basis to reach any agreement),
you ate your meals either at the restaurant at the hotel
or at the client's canteen. the only highlight was you had the chance to taste this la galette des rois on the three kings day. you didn't bite into any ornament that people normally put in the king's cake. but it's fun to know the culture and story behind this galette....
on another day, you had a taste of alsace with a cuisine that's close to germany
and the highlight of your "paris" trip is really your sweet haul from paris, some mini macarons and a chocolate tart from paul!
you just hope next week will not be this crazy.
happy friday!!
