Exponential Multiplication

25th September 2007

Last night I have a very strange dream, it woke me up at 3am in the morning. I am not sure if the dream is a effect after the SOL II lesson on evangelism or may be God is trying to tell me something.

I am not a mathematical person, but in that dream I saw exponential multiplications. It kept repeating and I couldn't hold on to it, from 1 to 2, 2 to 4, 4 to 8, 8 to 16 and so forth. I was awake every time when I lost count on it. When I fall asleep again, the same exponential multiplication repeat again until I lost count and woke up.

I asked the Lord, is this something from You, perhaps God is revealing something special to me. Perhaps this is just another wishful thinking. The preacher from last Sunday gave strength to me. She preached that if there is only one thing for us, it is to remain in the house of the Lord and forget about the past and move to the present without any constraint from the past. I was quite disappointed lately about the fact that I was unable to conceive but the Word of the Lord encourages me to not to rely on the past pattern or cling on the disappointment every time my menstruations started. This month, I am going to look forward without turning back. Although, the dream in one hand could mean spiritual multiplication and outpouring that He has intended for me, it could also mean something in me is multiplying in the same manner to form our child Joseph. It is also not an coincident that Sister Kitty let us to study about the character of Joseph in book of Genesis. Joseph is our long chosen name for our beloved son.

The SOL II lesson also simulated me to start dreaming, have the vision. Now I started to dream about multiplication and about being a mother and seeing the face of our son Joseph and start to imagine his characters. I also seeing myself transforming to a more vocal person when come to sharing the love of Christ. I also ask God to create opportunity for me to share His love with others, in His way, not my way.

Oh Lord, how wonderful it is, if all this will come into the past in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Attic Improvement

Finally our long waited Attic windows (or in Dutch ‘Dakraam’) finally arrived and ready for installation. We have been talking about this small home improvement project since spring and was really glad that it finally happens.

The process of installation was a dusty. In the morning, the worker cuts a hole on our roof top, assembly and installs the window. It only took them about half a day to fully install the day light system.

From now on, our attic will be another sunny space that we hope to convert into a hobby room. Well. we will see how it goes...
