while in the main dining area, you got your seats straight away...

this place is bustling not exactly like bombay as it stated but certainly resemblance the high society and elite class in the british india company...

the spiced house chai is what you're here for

and the deep fried okra was equally good

the meal shared by the three of you, not exactly big portion but enough for three ladies...
all good, all yum and what a perfect ending to the london east end trip!

when in london, going for an english afternoon tea on a saturday afternoon is almost like a ritual.  you booked yours months in advanced...

 the finger sandwich, definitely not the traditional one

the sweet bites from the botanical set, the most exquisite set that you have not tasted for awhile.  you wish you had enough time to savor the taste slowly, but that's not the case...

 the buttery, chocolaty scents from the pastry stalls

the colors from the seasonal fruits and vegetables...

the aroma of coffee which you didn't got the chance to taste as the line is too long...

 as such you grab a few pastries from the stall

and a savory bacon scotch egg butty and shared among the three of you and ate them at the bench at the cathedral nearby.

you just returned home from helsinki and you're now eating your dinner in london.  this is a private trip though ^^ tired but relax somehow.
your favorite dinner joint when you're in london sometime ago.  you waited for 40 min to get a table but it's worth the wait.

chanced into a shop just nearby to your hotel.  they sell colorful things, and the merchandise cheers you up.

spring in scandinavian is beautiful, crisp air, clear blue (very blue) sky, you feel refreshing and at ease despite the fact that you still need to put on your winter coat, but that blue is just so deep....

you started very early today, generally work starts at 8am in the morning but the good thing is you finished at 3pm in the afternoon and with the extended spring day light, you got the whole afternoon to enjoy the sights of helsinki.

sweet.life

your life is a tad too sweet lately...
starting with mc donald's chocolate sundae as your breakfast

 and then the piece of green tea cake at the coffee kiosk after your visit to the photography museum

it doesn't harm your sweet life since you basically trade your lunch with some sweetness but lately you have the desire and hopefully the determination to fast on sweet stuff aka cakes, desserts and bubbles.  let's see you can do this in the month of april, it's time to detox and body cleansing again.

 it's rather simple, just flour and water

 scallion or spring onion, sesame oil and black sesame

just roll it multiple time to form the layers and then off to the fry in the pan...  a good 3pm mid afternoon snack on the weekend...

you spend too little time at home this week that you savoy every moment you have. too bad the weather is wintry-ish this weekend, otherwise you will be working hard in the garden....
then again, time flies when you're having a good time. when this posted you're at paris again starting another crazy week of traveling and work.
