one of the very first morning where you can sit comfortably in the garden to enjoy your breakfast
you cut the tulips off, as they are over the top now and put them in a vase, it could last for another day or two. this patch of precious land is now replaced with summer flowers and hedges...
your usual healthy breakfast, strawberry with granola and milk
breakfast in the terrace setting is the one you enjoy the most, you just have to seize every moment of sunshine and warmth here in lowland.
and the over the hill tulips in a vase became the center of the cafe table...
at the rate of the blossoming in your garden, you don't have to make any purchase at the florist for awhile. the entire seeding, sowing and planting experience has the biblical truth in it. what you sow is what you reap. galatians 6:7-8 "do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. a man reaps what he sows. whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life"
your red rose will soon undergo a serious explosion. they are going to blossom in bunches
and you are waiting patiently full of expectant. this should have happened in may but the blossoming only come in june. perhaps the weather know you wasn't around in may, so delay the spring to a month later (no, that's not true)
and your herbs patch, lemon thyme, parsley, dill and your basil didn't survive while you're enjoying the good time in asia. you just plant another pot of basil.
all in all, gardening brings a great pleasure to you, not that you don't see it as hard work but most important you feel truly relaxed in the process and what you sow is what you reap most of the time....
happy weekends all!
