some random shots of nostalgic food that you tasted in meow meow city. tasting the food instead of eating is probably the right word because you just couldn't get too much food into your body in such a short turnaround.
starting with this pickled fruit, a fruit which you know it as bakolong. something true to asia if it's not merely just borneo. you like the sour and sweetness with every crunchy bite.
and a very old fashion cookie (probably originated or influenced by hokkien or teochew clans) that you picked up at a shop where you also bought some pork floss.. just love the texture of 腐乳饼. again you don't know the english name but it's probably made of fermented tofu. sweet and savory, nice!
and putu mayam, a pandan flavored rice vermicelli usually eaten with a palm sugar and shredded coconut
and a very old fashion herbal tea shop along jalan padugan. you just decided to have a cup to cleanse and cool your body.
the sights and the sense of meow meow city, almost stands still and hardly change.
