busy.in.the.kitchen

the joy of staying put in the country, sleeping in my own bed, woke up just before 9am and enjoying the little moment here and there, sneaking into the kitchen and churning out something for lunch, snack or even dinner....
you like the fact that you could enjoy your breakfast at a slower pace with some reading and eating your favorite fruits....
and when you have some time in between, you just go to the kitchen to whisk up something....

 malaysian style pan cake apam balik filled with crushed peanut and butter
 radish meat balls
 not so pretty looking siew mai
seasonal white asparagus, just blanch in hot water and serve with  hard boiled egg and crushed crispy bacon!
