autumn lifestyle

autumn is here, the trees have turned yellow and the foliage is the common scene. very soon the trees will be bold and winter will sneak in....
So far the autumn has been mild and gentle without many windy or breezy days. you are coping it positively despite the days are getting shorter and finding yourself hard to get up from your bed in the morning, let alone your luggage is getting heavier with autumn attire where you have to load yourself with extra layers.
autumn also put you back to cooking or baking mode. you finally unpack a pack of herbs specially packed by your bro.
with such an autumnal weather you're in the mood of cooking again starting with the bak kut teh (meat bone tea) a tonic food that keeps your body warm and nourishing.
your first attempt on yam rice to go with the tonic broth, which was yummy and well received by everyone.
you also made a batch of steam buns despite of your busy work schedule.bamboo charcoal char siew pau, with everything home made including the sweeten honey pork. it's a two fold process before the end result but you won't mind, after all getting your self busy in the kitchen warms you up and uplift your spirit against the grey-ish days.

it's also getting hard to go to gym in the evening when the sky is dark and cold, you manage to push yourself somehow as you feel so much positive and energetic after the workout, let alone it guarantee a deep sleep.
