::nourishing.soup::

you remember when you're young you used to read a series of book called "chicken soup for the soul". it's the sort of books that soothe the soul, with comfort words, motivation that uplift your soul....
you feel dry and heaty lately, that's not a surprise as you're now in the height of autumn weather which is usually dry. the remedy is to boil soup to moist your body, so you do it the cantonese way, not using any expensive herbs but just some down to earth ingredients...
sweet corn, carrot and tomato soup. the soup is just so soothing, the natural sweetness from the corn just moist your body, and honestly speaking you didn't even add any salt or other flavorings, just as natural as it get....
apple honey dates and goji berries soup, since you still have amply of home grown apples, so this is probably one of the way to consume them....  you added rock sugar, the soup is a tad tart but good alternative as a light dessert or something to combat your sweet tooth...

funny that you're writing about soup for body, soup for the soul and you actually wanted to write about the soup for your spirit, but you just haven't got the time, will save it for another time!
