::krapfen::

krapfen as some called berliner or what we called in english as doughnut...
rischart has a fancy version of these cream and sugar loaded krapfen.
you ordered a poppy seed version with a cup of cappuccino and sitting at the cafe upstairs near the with the view of the market...
this was the rischart cafe am main that you visited.
and you sat on the side table with a view of the cobble street
you needed the energy after the long walk under the below freeze point temperature...

ordered a poppy seed krapfen
 which has a lot of fresh cream, some sort of blueberry or plum jam. all in all a tad too sweet for you that you eat without the jam.  it has the doughnut texture, soft and fluffy and wash down well with a cup of coffee or tea on such a cold wintry day.
