third day of lunar new year

you packed a bit of cny cookies that you have baked over the past weeks and share them with your care group in the afternoon. you didn't bake much this year simply due to the amount of traveling you have to make weekly.

in the evening, you just get yourself busy in the kitchen, cooking up a sunday evening meal that has a hint and flavors of chinese new year.
罗汉斋- a simple vegetarian dish that's also quite common during the festive season...
蛋卷/春卷 - the hakka egg roll ala mama, something you must have at home during chinese new year and this is the very first time you recreate this cny dish....
响螺汤 - braised top shell soup, the soup is so flavorful that you don't need to add any salt or pepper to it... such a strong flavor as you added some dried scallops to the soup too.
salted chicken marinated and baked by your honey
and a small piece of jasmin tea chocolate to end the meal, this is so good that the subtle fragrant of jasmine filled your mouth and linger for a long time.  you wonder if you'll ever fall back to ordinary chocolate.

honestly you're thankful with the volatile situation at your client, you're grounded for the coming week and not only grounded but have nothing concrete at hand, so hopefully it's going to be a relaxing week...
