satay.house

workshop with your client is finally over since yesterday, but this morning you woke up early then usual as you have a train to catch to reading.  there another 27 people waiting for you to deliver a training.  it's not ideal where everything packed in a week. you flown in some 20 people from your client for a global workshop the last 3 days and today you have another 27 colleagues from all over the world attending a training.
thanked God it's over. it's done!
if you have a choice, you will called it the week but you still have a early morning call to attend. sigh! that's life.

despite an early morning start and a rather demanding day where people asked a lot of questions.  if you have not been grilled and learned in your current project, it's almost impossible for you to answer those questions.  nonetheless, you enjoyed meeting new colleagues especially when they coming as far as dubai or south africa.

you decided to treat yourself a dinner at satay house, after all your train brought you to paddington station.  a short walk you are at the restaurant a small petite restaurant.  it's not busy when you arrived but there are enough western customer eating.
you sat down, instead of satay you opt for tahu sumpat (stuffed tofu) as starter.
nasi lemak as main course, the portion is alright for you, the sambal prawn really has the kick.
you loved the spiciness and chili kick.  good for this wintry weather and especially when you are flamish after a long day of training delivery and train journey.
sago gula melaka - a tapioca in coconut milk and coconut sugar syrup, lovely.
now your stomach is fed, you feel a bit settle and head back to your hotel.
another day and you are home. it's been a long two weeks in exodus in london!
