geffrey.museum

you are "technically" free yesterday.  free in the sense you're no longer working on your project.  you try to avoid high street shopping, and an area that you really like to explore is shoreditch.  it's not very far from where you're.  so you decided to pay a visit to geffrey museum for the 'Christmas past exhibition'. it's not a big museum and certainly off the tourist beaten track.

at the museum, you got the chance to experiece the home over the past 400 years, from 1600 to the present day.  and this is how the Christmas was decorated at home. home in the past.
you kind of enjoy the living room setting and imagine how a family could sit there over the meal and enjoying the festive days....
for you, this is the best living room with the light blue wall.
and the fine china where cake supposed to be slice and serve while people are playing game at the same time.
this is really your kind of living room, it's modestly modern to today's standard...
another more rustic room caters for the kids and little ones...
this has an asia element and is predominate when the little lanterns are hung on the branches... the museum is not big, with about 7 to 9 rooms in the older days and at the new wings the same theme continue to the 90's.
the weather was lovely. it's cold and apparently snowed in some part of the country, but you didn't see a sight of snow in london entire day. you enjoy the freezing and crisp air and the sunny day.  from here, you venture to a short walk back to the city and stop by at a restaurant for lunch.  but that will be another story.

you actually wanted to fly back today and skip the Christmas party with the client but when you try to re-book your flight, apparently flights for today are all fully booked.  it's snowing in the lowland, the last thing you want is to get stranded in london. so you re-booked your flight from tomorrow afternoon to tomorrow morning.  you really want to get home.  it's about time to conclude london for the time being. and you already have something line up in belgium next week, whether you need to go there physically is till pending, but you already started with the work.
