when you asked the hotel concierge where you can find christmas market, you're directed to the castle area. you made your way here but no christmas market to your avail but a nice castle or fortress on a spacious area. it's a fine day anyway, sunny blue sky, close to zero degree without wind.
it's actually very pleasant to stroll at this compound, it has a museum that houses leonardo da vinci works and some other exhibitions.
you could imagine how bustling and vibrant it was during the "oh bej oh bej" festival but as you stood there, it's just castle with history and arts, definitely a space to breath and an oasis in the city center.
you walk beyond the fountain, strolling slowly to the duomo.
