saturday morning, you're determined to go to borough market. a market that you always wanted to visit but never had the right time to do so. you stay so near to borough market, and it's absolutely something not to be missed....
you set off in the morning, walking toward momument and cross the london bridge with the view of tower bridge. early in the morning, the weather is promising and you know it's going to be a fine day, a rare fine autumn day.
just before you reached the market, the window display of the pub caught your attention...
but your goal is clear, borough market is the destination
there are a few eateries at the entrance alluring people to stop by but for now, you just want to explore the market... the paellas were enticing....
you like the market map, illustration through the body parts of a cow...
you basically explored all three markets... some are really english
and the english meat pie
then there's this shop that selling everything mediterranean...
a butchery with everything nicely arranged... extremely clean
lapin? rabbit meat
a green wheat shot... to boost you up perhaps...
biscuits
and many other variety of produces for sale... certainly wetting your appetite
and the ice cream... hmmm, perhaps it's too early for that
but surely there's no harm to peep and be enticed....
cheese stall... certainly not dutch cheese ^^, then again you never take a closer look
and you just love the stall display at the market... and you still don't know if those rabbits are real dead bodies...
you wanted to try something that everyone is eating, it's a sort of egg benedict, cheesy version. you just couldn't find the stall... so you settle with the salted pulled beef, finding it too much for breakfast, and opt for a british sausage. and the highlight was that cup of humble chai tea. it's so good and soothing for an autumn morning, you happily sip your tea while waking around the market...
