tonkotsu.ramen

tonkotsu is a japanese delicacy.  you kinda grow tired of malaysian hawker stall cuisine lately.  instead you start craving for your previous passion of japanese noodles ramen. you sort of figured out two ramen restaurants in london both situation nearby soho area.
the reviews were got, so you went with high expectation for an authentic bowl of japanese thick broth ramen.
since you're solo diner so you sat at a long bar, which you didn't mind at all
the japanese cucumber pickle is a total disaster, it's just normal cucumber vinegar-ed and a dash of sesame... blah!
your tonkotsu ramen lives up the justice though, it's a bowl of rather thick soup, not must of artificial flavoring but a true pork bones boiled long hours until the mellow and possibly the bone texture broke down and melt into the soup
the noodles texture is not as great as those you ate in little tokyo in dusseldorf. then again you are in london, so you're happy with the noodles
the tonkotsu ramen was indeed a great bowl, heart warming, satisfying and delicious. you won't mind coming back for another bowl but certainly will abstain from ordering the appetizers.

almost weekend ^^. the week in london almost over! you're excited as your honey is about to return home too!
