christmas.comes.early

Christmas comes early this year. your friend came over to collect the goodies that she ordered for her daughter's birthday party and that you carried from london to lowland.  while stepping into your house, she passed you 2 bags of goodies.

 it's certainly going to be a yummy Christmas.  you can already imagine the woody and earthy risotto that you are going to make with shredded cheese

 and drinking the brut (dry) champagne in the crystal flute glasses.  how generous!  you really don't deserve all these as you said to her later.  she is such a kind hearted and generous lady.

 a weekend at home, you whisked up the sticky dates pudding. you ate this during the week in london and you still missing it.

 it's hard to imagine how a simple, humble, rustic and rather old fashion sticky dates pudding has such a big impression and you just love it albeit he finds it too sweet and not to his liking.

thankfully you just made a very small portion.  entering into december, you are counting down for Christmas  most importantly you are tired, you wanted to put a pause to the weekly travelling to london and enjoy the festive season in a different way....
