eating your somber breakfast at the lounge, till hamburg is calling... (ignore the watermark @hamburg, you're still at lowland then). yeah, there's a call for a weekend Christmas market trip and the meeting point is at hamburg.
you're the last to arrive by flight. met up at the airport, head to the train station to collect another friend and head to the hostel.
at superbude, you check in to your room with another three, where you'll stay for two nights and head to the other side of the city.
hamburg is still relatively white with a layer of snow that's about melting away.... nonetheless, white and serene.
at the curry wurst house, you'd a reservation. this place is just not another curry wurst chain that you could have imagine. this is a rather up market one with a nice long table in a separate room reserved by your dear hamburger friend...
the gourmet curry wurst with the curry intensity rating from no.2 to no.8. while you feel nothing when biting on no.2, you feel the heat on no. 3 and from there onwards it's mind blowing intensity experience on the level of spiciness curry powder could bring. your tongue, lip was numb for some moment when you eventually reached no.8 which is the hottest of them all...
these are the humble german sausages but the wurst tasting experience is not humble at all.... you came in without any expectation, but you left with hot lips and warm stomach, happily and satisfying smiling for such an unusual sampling experience....
curry queen. albeit germany is famous for its curry wurst. this is not just a normal curry wurst but an experience that worth remember.
