boat.ride.adventure

you rent a boat, and eagerly jump onto the boat and off for a journey.
your chef is the captain and the commander of this small little boat, operated by batteries.

the initial journey was bumpy, captain needs to get use to the steering and the orientation, so you bump straight to the left and right of the canal, sometime bump to other boats.

but it's all part of the joy ride.

you travel under the bridges... some you have to squat down or bow your head as the bridge is too low...

they're enough boats accompanying you throughout the journey
the perspective and view from the boat is very different from the path, you have a better view and appreciation on the mansions and going under the bridge.
and a right turn, you are going towards the big lake
at the big lake. the weather is absolutely calm, warm, cloudy and no wind. you feel safe and secure...

this is when you are deserted yet no one is aware that you no longer follow the recommended route on the map. you see people canoeing
sheep on the fields, you see dead dog on the canal and endless open area, yet there is no sense of orientation that you're lost.  only at the very last hour, when you posed to ask for direction that's when you realized you have travel all the way to the north while the recommended route is to the south.  based on the advise of a kind gentleman, the fastest way to get back to where you started is via the big canal.  despite of some concerns, you boat journey through the big canal. that's when you feel that you are fragile, the small little boat almost gives no power to the speed and you have to cautiously avoid the bigger and faster boat... there's certainly the element of adventures with panic. needless to say you reach the small canal again after what seem to be forever journey on the big canal.
this is the small canal that you are accustomed to and that's your little boat is designated for its purpose. your boat still couldn't get to the owner due to the one way traffic, but you hopped of at some points and just stroll along the village....
and wait for them to be back here, that's where the boat belongs...
