villa.ephrussi.

this is the first place you check-out after you arrived at the airport and picked up your car. the villa is situated at saint jean cap ferrat, a tiniest peninsular on the way to beaulieu-sur-mer.
the villa is a very feminine one, established in pink with about 8 to 9 themed gardens...

the tangerine tree, this is a clear evident that you are at cote-d'azur ^^, the sunshine fruits are everywhere... also plenty in this villa

japanese theme garden, quite nicely done and rather accurately interpreted with the correct japanese elements.
spanish garden...
you walked around the compound, taking in the view of the garden and the surrounding scenery... the sea is ever so calm, the sky is ever so blue... you need sometime to really soak in the azur blue color.... the pink villa on the blue background is quite stunning too
from the distance you follow the descending water steps, and walk towards the villla

and be playful with the stepping stone... the climate here is so pleasant, that you lost your word of description and just enjoy...
inside the villa, many deco are feminine, you stood here at the different windows with the shutters and peep into the scenery near and afar... you can imagine the life of the baroness and how she lived her life here when it's winter in paris or deauville...
the various rooms and corners nicely touched up with french design furnitures, wall paper and vases...

you marveled by the surrounding, it's secluded and blessed by the mother nature. the blue sky, white puffy clouds, the azure and emerald blue/green sea

sitting here, you know you have a blessed life too, you don't have everything, but you love what you have. a brief moment of visit and ability to gain an insight of the garden and the villa already is an inspiration to your trip.
