 another friend made these nian gao pastry with sweet potato

 the host made her signature tom yum beehoon

 and stewed chicken feet....

 a simple yet very typical home cooked finger food

 and also a few bottles of white wines and champagne

 and this wine is unforgettable...

as it's indeed a celebration as the champion of bbc master chef 2014 is a malaysian lady. her nasi lemak dish was her final cook up and that crown her the winner.  that very moment, you're proud that you're malaysian and the humble, everyday breakfast, lunch, snack or even dinner nasi lemak has made it to the master chef with the extravaganza twist.
