timeout.garden

it's first of may... certainly a good day, time and weather wise to sit in the garden
enjoying your time out moment with a home made asparagus puff pastry tart...
it's all simply cooking/baking this week with just green asparagus, puff pastry, gruyere cheese and black pepper. simple yet tasty, eating from the season is often the best where you get the freshest produce at the cheapest price...
and new flowers popping up, now that tulips and hyacinths and daffodils are gone, ranunculus and poppies start to show their presence
and allium too, you have been thinking of planting these purple allium for a few years and this year you finally got them blossoming in your garden.  there's one thing you cannot rush that's is planting, everything come in the season and has it own timing...
while the weather is perfect, you actually planted some more veg, re-potted a few plants transferring them outdoor to the earth and seeded a few more pots
and enjoying your fruity afternoon break in the garden as well.  you're relaxed and refreshed after the gardening and feeling really thankful for the timeout this week that you can rest to rejuvenate your body, soul and spirit.
it's a blissful day and you are truly thankful and contented.
