kuih.kosui



you suddenly fancy this nyonya snack or kuih that you grew up with. it's something that you could eat as breakfast or afternoon snack for that matter.  easily accessible from market or any food stall that selling various manners of bite-sized food items, both sweet and savory.
it's your first attempt in making these little kuih kosui and much to your delight it's relatively easy to make, and you got the 'kuih' in the right texture full of the palm sugar aroma.  on the contrary, you dislike the shredded coconut, since you can only get hold of the frozen version, the aroma is muted despite you steamed it with the fragrant pandan (screwpine) leaves.
you made a batch of these and share it with a few friends who appreciate such nyonya delights.
