torta.fritta
finally you have some moments for aperitifs. you checked out two different enoteca (wine shop). the first glass of lambrusco taste cheap and you move on to the next enoteca and had a glass of prosecco and small bite. and finally arrived at the restaurant and had your dinner. the food was so good that you didn't even remember about taking the photo later but you manage to snap a quick picture of torta fritta di parma. these are basically fried dough deep fried in lard. claim to be the specialty of parma as even some members of our team from milan and rome were in search of this and highly acclaimed this as parma specialty. you've tried it and honestly speaking it doesn't ring a bell or hit a spot. been there and done that :).
