this is again not a typical cny cookies and definitely not the german cookies that commonly available in south east asia. the dough is very soft so you just couldn't make do with your nice cookie cutter, but instead turn it into a typical german-ish cookies outlook.
this cookie is packed with flavor, the sarawak black peper does the trick and bursting out between the rich chocolaty and cut clean with peppery taste.
it's certainly not a kid friendly cookies, a note to yourself when you serve this during the open house.
