you had your dinner at folk's inn together with your french colleagues who are on the course with you.
noticing the serving is quite huge, you only ordered three main dishes to share. the fish, the pierogi (polish dumplings come in 5 flavors and 15 pieces) and a polish pork knuckle. all food are great, the dumplings is a crossover of chinese jiaozi and italian ravioli. the pork knuckle while resembles the german signature dish yet the use of spices are very different.
polish meal, generous portion, hearty and delicious. the flavored vodka are too sweet to your liking but the plain one is pretty good.
it's a good meal and a good introductory to polish cuisine.
