blue.very

so what happened when you feel blue, very blue?  you got a pack of blueberries from the store and wondering what you could do with it beside eating them raw or pouring them into your morning cereal...
 and then blueberry pie came into your mind... you whisked this up without a proper recipe but the idea of the presentation you got it from instagram.... so you decided to give it a try, cooking the blueberries based on your instinct about taste, you spiced it up with cardamon, lemon zest, lemon juice and sugar of course.
 and then you work out the short crust pastry like you normally do and with the remaining pastry dough, you just use a fondant cutter to cut them into shape.
 you're looking at the withered hydrangea, and thought this pie would capture hydrangea bloom in your memory
and you didn't waste the residue either, it's actually some sort of cordial and you pour some sparkling water to a glass, that's your blueberry drinks, the color almost like ribena, taste wise of course not...
it's been awhile since you last had your adventure in the kitchen, you kinda like it really and hopefully more will come.
