you had your afternoon tea at the tea room inside national gallery, shortly after you finished with the munch 150 exhibition.

it's a rainy day, so you won't mind resting your feet in this elegant tea room.

 the tea room is small but with a very nice and relaxing interior

 and a glass cabin as the center showcase....

 you shared a pot of tea and each of you had a piece of cake or pie...

 his chocolate cake as he needed the sugar and energy...

 your walnut cake, nutty and earthy.  it's not extraordinary, in fact a tad too sweet for you but it is down to earth and good to wash down with a cup of tea. you're thankful that you can rest here and enjoy the ambiance.  feeling good to move on to the next museum any how.
