from sibelius monument, you walk some 300m to the water front and here you found your destination.  a little red cottage house by the water. it's famous for its cinnamon bun, the finnish signature cinnamon spiced "ear" bun..
somehow, helsinki is very japan to you, especially the way cafe regatta is decorated, it's almost feel like you're in hokkaido for a vacation.
from this tiny door, you walk in...
the interior is a totally bric-a-brac with all things rustic from collectibles, junks to memorabilia
the cafe is kinky and quirky, while the terrace is almost like a summer cottage of scandinavian outdoor setting by the water,
truth to be told, this is your first cinnamon bun and filter coffee, you took it to the terrace as you wanted some fresh air...
while taking photos, your bun was attacked by the sea gulls and within split second you're only left with your coffee... so you return to the cafe and other another cinnamon bun. the bun's really good, and you probably will recreate this at home in due time.
checking out the washroom and nope, you're not doing your business and taking photo, you just find the heels decorated mirror really quirkly and the graffiti on the door is actually to your liking as it blends into the toilet well... you walk out feeling bizarre about the toilet but your stomach is totally happy with the cinnamon bun, and the filter coffee too!
