a brief stopover at meersburg, a neighboring towns that joining the northern shore of lake constance. weather was ever changing between sunshine and occasional showers. it was hard to wander around the city let alone he refused the short hike to the castle. the city is very un-german with the walls and building in bright colors like you're in any mediterranean cities.
the highlight for you were the afternoon tea session where you'd your first taste on the black forest cake and his applestrudel with vanilla ice cream. both were good though you have taste a better black forest in
demel cafe, vienna. his applstrudel while is made with puff pastry and not filo pastry, it has the very balanced palate of sweet, sour and creaminess.
