you can't tell if number seventeen is an unlucky number but you're shocked and speechless when he told you about the breaking news that the malaysian airlines flight was shot down.
your first reaction was it can't be real, and then you wish no one you know were on that flight.  it's right beginning of summer holiday, if it's not you on that plane, it could be anyone else you know.
you know you're ready if the Lord wants to call you home but you also know many are not ready yet.  you sort of dip into the same emotion and tears when the great tsunami and earthquake happened in japan. while you have not heard any friend were on that flight but you already know a handful of people (friend of friends) and your heart grief.
you're a regular jet-setter yourself and you know chances that this happen to you will be greater than anyone else who just take the flight once a year. but yet,
dear friends, life is fragile. sometime not even in our control. cherish every moment, shower your love to your love ones...forgive the people you need to forgive and make no regret in life.
for now, you pray for the family and friends of the passengers who tragically lost their lives aboard the flight.
