you wanted to hike up artxanda peak but was discouraged by the guide and also heat, so you walk up to the funicular station. the walk to funicular station reminded you a lot of hong kong, the electric walking path way, the steep hills among the high rise condominiums and apartments, the short walk here reminded of your daily walking up and down the mid-levels as you go to office in central. but that's years ago.
back to bilbao, at the top, it's more or less like the peak in hong kong but less building, less glamour. it's nice in a way as there're a number of sculptures on the platform along with the cool breeze and the shades where one can truly admire the view without much distraction.
