i have been very busy this week. busy with something new, learning and preparing something revolutionary for my work which will soon launch in the marketplace. it's exciting and really a blessing to be in the forefront of the technology. in short lots of self learning and deadlines to meet.
the lowland is struck by earthquake tonight, although I didn't feel it at my area, many others do feel the shake elsewhere. it does bring back some memories of tokyo earthquake...

i finally cooked this dish - . each time when i buy the witlof (endive) i have this dish in mind but before i got the chance to do it my way, it got cooked by the other chef at home. today i asked him to hands-off from the witlof and finally squeeze sometime in between to make this.
super rich, super fatty and severely guilty baked dish. i love the smokiness of the bacon and the aroma of gruyere cheese even though it is a little too salty to my liking though....
i am glad that it's already thursday, am really looking forward to the program packed weekend.

Your endive dish looks amazing! That's the great thing about endive...it's so versatile and stands up to just about any preparation. Of course, bacon and cheese are fantastic flavor pairings, too!
Thanks for sharing.
