cheers to all the women in the world! it's march the eight, the world has dedicated today as international woman's day. you remember last year you had a big celebration in tokyo, it's a big event and you   felt the appreciation and the fact that your ex-company wanted all female to be successful.

this year, the day would have gone beyond notice as there's no special communication from your current employer about today.  

you had a dinner tonight coincidentally planned in advance with a few lovely ladies, this indirectly marked a celebration as it will be girls only night out at a nice restaurant in amstelveen under the restaurant week campaign. 

each of  you had a glass of rose to toast... cheers for the night, for the friendship and for the international woman's day

 the amuse bouche with pumpkin and lots of goodies and flavors

your starter, a beef tartare and a little pot has lots of wonderful flavors in there and that outcast the beef tartare which by itself is okay

 a special diet for a lady that refrains from raw tartare, she had a goat cheese on a really beautiful flowery plate 

the scallops - an additional second course that came in as a "surprise", none of you expected it to be presented in this way, taste wise it's also more towards the asian variety, you can associate the taste of thai curry and others asian flavors...

your main, in fact most of you order the cod fish. the fish itself is nicely done, fresh and moist but the overall combination with the black sauce just didn't work out.  most of you refrain the sauce as the fish by itself is great... it's a rather disappointing main course and you started to wonder if the cook is actually a chinese.

another lucky lady opt for steak instead of fish, you didn't get to taste this but you guess her has a less disappointing main course than the others who ordered fish main course...

another dessert amuse bouche, a meringue with some citrus food, good palate cleansing to wipe away the main course....

and this is really the highlight of the night, your dessert, came in a pretty bowl, and each bite is full of surprises, different in texture, variation in taste yet fully harmonized as a whole

 it really deserved a second photo as this makes you smile...

to finish off, you had a  cappuccino and these little bites of petite fours add more pleasure to the dining experience.

you want to dedicate today to all the girls, ladies that you know before and even now.  some have left a deepest impression in your life, others have brought you the love and friendship, some come and go without lasting impact but today you just want to thank God for all the women that you have cross path with.

most of all, you wish them to be a woman that God has intended them to be!
