a special acronym that represents copenhagen, brussels and amsterdam. you only got to know this yesterday. you also learned about paul klee a modern art painter of bern and how cobra has taken on the influence of klee.
the exhibition is not big but has good illustration of both cobra painters and some detailed work and masterpieces of klee.
klee created a puppet and named for himself, this is him among the many others that he has created for his boy...
klee is quite playful and in the beginning it is almost like a child's arts, unorganized strokes and patterns. but even picasso once said every child is an artist, and klee's works are quite playful, the arts are abstract, it's almost impossible to guess the title or what the artist is trying to convey at the start, but as you progress and you become thrilled when you can guess the subject/title.
you learned about karel appel too, a dutch artist that deeply influenced by klee.
visiting museum is like a learning process, you acquire a knowledge, a space that temporarily transport you out of your mundane world and at the end you return to the world but with acquired knowledge or learning experience.
when he wants to see more, you sit at the drawing corner and start playing with the color pencil...
and this is what you achieved so far while waiting for him.
it's a great way to spend a dull and gray saturday, the temperature is on the lower of double digit but it's just not a day for outdoor. you really can't wait for spring to come.
