3.11.remembering.tohoku

a year has passed, a year came and gone.
you remember clearly last year this day how the earth was swaying in tokyo - an earthquake of 6.8 magnitude, you were not even close to the tohoku area where tsunami struck.
all you know is your life has changed, you woke up from a deep slumber sleep. with the spiritual and emotional turmoil, you took the home passage, a long journey home, but you left your heart in tokyo.

and you "stranded" in lowland for about four weeks without any hope to return to japan yet working on your tokyo project, and when you finally return, you turn to a different chapter of life just like the cherry blossom in tokyo.  you are determined to make something different and you did what you supposed to do in the big city tokyo, nothing great or dramatic but at the specific place called harajuku. the Lord opened ways and you followed effortlessly. hearts are touched, lives are changed and saved, nothing big or dramatic but all the glory belongs to the Lord, you are just a vessel and instrument.
today, despite of the memory and the swaying motion still sharp in your mind, but you are no longer afraid, you have no regret. your life and season for japan is over somehow, but your love and prayers for the japanese people remain the same. it's a life changing event, it's a great awakening that you know it's meant for you by God.  you grieved for the lost of many souls but you know the nation will rise up and move on. you know at least some lives will never be the same again. you miss the dynamic and momentum of big city tokyo and the many lovely friends you met.

God bless tohoku!
