at dinner time, after scouting a few japanese restaurants, he still insisted to dine at this place.
while you look at the menu deciding what to order, he already decided what he wants
the fresh ingredients for sushi and sashimi...
you had a glass of asahi beer, the karaage from the lunch has created a heaty sensation in your body, so a western herbal tea beer to cool your body down...
you ordered a portion of edamame to munch on while waiting for your main to arrive...
your assorted seafood plate, with assorted sashimi, nigiri sushi and a hand roll... jolly yummy good!
his kaisen don (sushi rice topped with seafood sashimi)... this is what he has been craving for...
in no time you wiped your plate clean..
likewise for him. it's the first time both of you feeling so satisfied after a meal since daniel fast.
interestingly because you sat at the sushi bar counter, you noticed how the sushi chef making the roll sushi using this sushi robot. he just put a sheet of nori (seaweed), the rice will automatically fold down
then the sushi chef puts the right ingredients according to the order, press another button, the sushi roll is folded neatly and swiftly.
just a food for thought... you understand from the efficiency and productivity perspective, this is probably what you needed to keep pace with the large volume of orders. but what is authenticity? do you still need a skilled sushi chef or anybody can become one with this machine in place.
