dutch.spring.glories

you are supposed to go away for a long easter weekend but the weather forecast has been pessimistic about the destination that you planned to go, so you stay put in the lowland knowing that you won't enjoy the castle and the highland when the weather forecast is rainy and with morning/night temperature below freezing temperature. the castle will have to wait.
first stop at the daffodils patch... they are really at their best now! opposite the road is the patch of colorful pastel hyacinth...

the weather is sunny since mid morning in lowland, but freezing cold (brr). nothing can stop you from going to the flower field although you know that some flowers such as tulip may not be in bloom yet.
you will be away next weekend, so you just dressed warm and seized the chance (still in your winter jacket), after all, the Lord has blessed you with a sunny weather.

bold strokes of colorful hyacinth, nature is at its best in spring, this season is probably the best and most colorful season of the year, you called this dutch spring glories...
you enjoy the fragrant that the wind brings occasionally, it's the scent of hyacinth, naturally scented.  you stood here for a long time, not just to enjoy the scenery and the colors
but waiting for the refreshing scent to sweep over your face, and you feel really refreshed and relaxed in the nature
you walked further to the flower patch just opposite the famous keukenhof, and took a stroll and get into the flower flanks...
the sunny days are ahead, it's time to remove your glasses, put on your contact lens and your sunnies... the uv factor is high too...
other trees and plants along the flower patch are blooming too, very soon the scenery will change, you will see green leaves and more flowers for sure by the time you are back from your trip.
a beautiful reflection of the flower field on your car mirror, you refused to go, but it's time to make a move, there's time and season for every activity under the sun after all.
