confluence.of.japan.korea.hong.kong

i went out this morning to a sister's house to discuss our 'send' dissertation that is about to due in two weeks time.  on my return, i helped johannes to move our furniture's as we are trying to re-orientate our living room and dinning room.  also in the process of learning if we like how the television is placed before we actually make an investment in upgrading one....  it took us quite awhile to move, vacuum, mop and putting everything in order again...  it is a spring cleaning in autumn.  but it is necessary.  so our home has got a new look and feel that i have to get use to it again.  i will take some photos tomorrow in the day light.  however, after the move, i am tired  and hungry... in order to come out with dinner quickly, we ended up with a confluence flavors from a few asian countries.....
tonkatsu udon ramen, i am in japanese mood today so i cooked the udon ramen for dinner.

korean style radish kimchi made by johannes a day before, super crunchy!!

chikuzenni (筑前煮) dish made by me, with konnyaku, bamboo shoot, carrot  and potato.   a typical japanese braised dish or stew with many root vegetables

canotnese style soy sauce braised chicken wings made by him.
we actually got our dinner cooked up in 30 minute, a rather satisfying one...
!happy saturday and good night!
