ocean.apart

i wanted to do my travel story in a chronological order but looks like it will never happen because some thoughts and photos took longer to organize. so it's going to be mambo jambo for the time being. for this, i have to travel back to mid may, at the start of my journey, my first destination, hakodate where the weather is still SPRING.

the coast is just like 3 minute walk from where you lodged. you have been to the hakodate yama, and now you want to have a taste of the sea. so you turn left....

a fine FINE DAY in hakodate, nothing you would ask for more. blue BLUE sky. you walk on and in no time you are at the ocean and the wharf.

it's just calm you down once you have this unbeatable sea view all for yourself. not super spectacular or legit, but just a view that calms you down. what thrill you more is not the sea but the houses that you encounter on your way to the ocean...
the "good"
a turquoise color house...
the bad
a mix and match wall?? but it's unique and pretty to you...
the ugly
a little worn out wall, but full of character!!
even though those houses may not fit into the walk to the ocean but they just seem so "right" here. it does look a little bizarre but on second thought, those house actually compliment the blue sky and puffy cloud.

you are lost for words, you wish you know more words or vocabulary to describe the excitement in you and these walls. these may be ordinary discoveries but to you these are special houses that leave a sharp impression in your heart.

enjoy!
