ice.age

ice age but it's a beautiful sunny winter wonderland
clear blue sky with almost no cloud and a blanket of snowy white snow on the ground
the route n11 looks so different with a layer of white, so different that you hardly recognize this was the route that you used to drive daily when your office is based in amsterdam
christmas in february? at least you don't feel spring today but with this santa hat, you feel more christmas than spring....
you are walking on the creek that has frozen. the community must have swept away the extra layers of snow so that the ice layer revealed and ice skating can start
 kid on the sleigh...
with the dutch windmill at the distance...
this makes a typical lowland winter scenery where people enjoying their favorite winter spot - skating...
sheep's sunbathing in the icy cold weather
at the other side of the lake where you can see the footprints of ducks and other animals, the water is not really frozen - dangerous zone...
you didn't want to be in the photo, but he insisted, so this is the only shot of you wearing your skiing pant. you looks sluggish but the outfit is necessary to keep you warm and comfortable outdoor.

the walk is so refreshing, despite of the cold temperature, you feel excited and refreshed after the walk on the creek and around the lake.

p/s: this is a scheduled post as you have to make a day trip to germany again. not your favorite timing to travel on such weather condition but business is business, so you ought to be there.
