chateau..rochepot

you almost believe in fairy tale as you approached the castle.
it's in a medieval setting and to enter, you need to cross the hanging bridge and knock 3 times on the door with the door knob.  you only seen this in the movie.
the castle is petite, but compact.  the first sight is impressive as you're welcomed by well sculptured garden and again the impressive burgundy patterned tiles roof.
you manage to join a guided tour though in reality you didn't benefit from the tour since it's conducted in french, german and merely a liner or two in english.
nevertheless, you just observed the recreation of the interior and take them in with your eyes.  that said, most of the interior or even the building itself is a remake as the original one was destroyed.  and hence bulk of what you see and touch is a reconstruction.
it's still pretty fairy tale to you when you went up to one of the tower and observed the view from above
the burgundy tile is still very impressive....

and get into the bedroom in the tower with the outlook of the castle, the roof and the garden.  a little imprison perspective but you could imagine it as a little princess being captured in the tower awaiting her prince charming to rescue her.....
it's a beautiful place but just like any fairy tale, it's not real.  so you just move on....

at the other hill top, you have another glimpse of chateau rochepot again

it stood elegantly in the midst of the trees on top of the opposite hill, seeing you off and waving you off...
at that moment, you wish your fairy tale continues...
