you decided to overnight in this city because it's just 2 hours further to your end destination. that said you didn't do any research about the city and neither had the chance to visit the city on the night of arrival.
you check the city out briefly, just so that you can strike your list off. much to your surprise, nancy has quite a number of unesco heritage.
you walked around the city without much expectation but you're welcomed by stanislas square. a very clean square with in front of the city hall and you just love the golden trimmings on the gates and lamps.
all in all a neat city, a glistering square
and a crisp summer morning with fresh air
and details to all the decoration....
the stroll around the square is very pleasant and you spotted plenty of lamp posts and unique sign posts too
and let alone the alley of the old town where you got carried away by the colorful doors against the beige or aged wall.... a good place for wall story...
nancy is nice but this is not your final destination, so you must move on....
